The Citizens Academy is back! Registration is open for City of Sanford Citizens Academy Class 16
Space fills up quickly, don’t delay. The 10-week Citizens Academy provides an opportunity to learn about city government through first-hand experience across all city departments.  Participants will learn about a wide variety of topics, such as how decisions are made, how city funds are allocated, and how city departments operate, and more. You will learn about current city projects and future plans for Sanford’s development and proposed projects. You will tour city facilities and become an overall more informed and engaged citizen. Citizens Academy Class 16 will be held each Wednesday evening from February 2, 2022, through April 6, 2022, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Sign up today!
